Trade turnover in Baku grew by 5%

December 25, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of trade turnover in Baku for Jan-Nov 2024 increased by 5% against the 2023 same term up to 31.599 billion manats.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Baku City Statistics Department that the value of food, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail chain increased by 2.3% compared with Jan-Nov 2023 up to 17.936 billion manats, while non-food products by 8.7% up to 13.66 billion manats. 35.8% of consumer goods were sold at enterprises with status of a legal entity, 50.9% - in retail facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, and 13.3% - in the commodity markets of the capital.
