December 19, Fineko/abc.az. The price of butter is reaching record levels across Europe.

ABC.AZ informs that this is reported by the journalists of portal SIC Notícias: "In Germany and Italy, the price of butter has increased more than by 40%, and in France, where the price of butter has grown by 25% in recent months, some confectioners are already preparing famous croissants with margarine, trying to reduce costs, however, the only solution is increase in selling prices for croissants and cakes. In other words, the end user has to pay. Growth is also observed for some other dairy products, with prices rising immediately after leaving the factory."

In some countries, the situation is so serious that the Polish Government, for example, decided to intervene and announced an open tender for the sale of thousands of tons of butter from the country's strategic reserves. The goal is to try to stabilize the price before Christmas.
