July 17, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the allocation of funds to the Ministry of Energy to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant information was distributed by the press service of the head of state.

The decree states that based on the principles of humanism, Azerbaijan provides humanitarian aid to many countries on a bilateral and multilateral basis.

In connection with the recent situation in Ukraine, the Azerbaijani State has repeatedly provided humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people.

Under the decree, in order to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine, $7.6 million (in manat equivalent) has been allocated to the Ministry of Energy from the Presidential Reserve Fund of State Budget 2023 for the purchase and dispatch of electrical equipment.

The Ministry of Finance is tasked to undertake the financing procedure, and the Cabinet Ministers to resolve issues arising from this decree.
