Mastercard and Central Bank of Azerbaijan to promote jointly use of digital payment systems in Nakhchivan

June 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has announced the beginning of work on expansion of the use of digital payment systems in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The Bank reports that the project on expansion of services will be implemented as pilot together with Mastercard.

"The joint project implies organization of incentive campaigns for expansion of the use of digital payment systems among consumers and businesses," the CBA said in a statement.
