July 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku branch of Bank Melli İran has disclosed its financial performance for the first half of 2026.

The bank's interest income in the first half of 2026 amounted to 2,681,100 manats (153,500 manats, or 5,4%, less than for Jan-Jun 2025 - 2,834,600 manats). The branch did not have any interest expenses.

661,100 manats were directed for asset reserves (a year-on-year drop of 467,500 manats, or 41.4%).

The revaluation of the foreign currency position cost 57,900 manats (a year-on-year drop of 119,100 manats, or about 4-fold). In the first six months of 2025, the revaluation of the foreign currency position was 177,000 manats.

Administrative expenses totaled 953,100 manats (101,700 manats, or 11.9%, more than last year).

Thus, the Baku branch of Bank Melli İran ended the 1st half of 2026 with net profit of 2.324 million manats (900,300 manats, or 27.9%, less against Jan-Jun 2025).

The bank did not pay income tax for Jan-Jun 2026.
