21:55 - 8.07.2026

July 8, Fineko/abc.az. Iran will completely close the Strait of Hormuz once again and retaliate harshly against any military strikes in the event of a potential US attack.

According to Iranian state television Press TV, citing a security source, Tehran has already updated its target list and implemented a new military strategy.

The source noted that transit through the Strait of Hormuz must be carried out within the framework of regulations set by Iran, and the country is fully prepared to fight over this matter. Emphasizing that US President Donald Trump's recent statements will yield no results and will only undermine the negotiation process, the Iranian official stated that a powerful and proportional response will be given to any threat, with Iran making no distinction between the US and its regional partners.
