July 9th, Fineko/abc.az. As of July 1, 2026, the overall liabilities of the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran amounted to 65.855 million manats, having dropped by 1.083 million manats since the end of 2025, or 1.6% (as of December 31, 2025 - 66.938 million manats).

Obligations to financial institutions amounted to 11.768 million manats (a rise of 398,000 manats, or 3.5% for Jan-Jun 2025).

Customer funds decreased to 36.309 million manats (a drop of 792,000 manats, or 2.1% against the end of 2025).

Deferred income tax liabilities totaled 328,200 manats (decline by 91,700 manats, or 21.8% for the past 6 months).

Other liabilities reached 24,500 manats (a drop by 12,800 manats, or 34.3%).

Subordinated debt liabilities amounted to 17.426 million manats (a drop of 594,000 manats, or 3.3% less than at the end of last year).

The total capital of the branch increased up to 55.677 million manats (a rise of 2.324 million manats, or 4.4% more than at the end of 2025).

The increase in capital was solely due to the reduction of accumulated losses.

The authorized capital remained unchanged at 73.6 million manats.

There was no revaluation reserve.

The accumulated loss decreased from 20.259 million to 17.934 million, improving by 2.325 million manats in six months.
