July 8, Fineko/abc.az. Tesco is considering the sale of its business units in Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, which employ more than 22,000 people.

This move could bring an end to the company's nearly 30-year international expansion. According to reports, if the deal goes through, Tesco will only retain operations in the UK and Ireland. The company has already sold off most of its overseas assets, including businesses in South Korea, Thailand, and Malaysia, following an accounting scandal in 2014.
