June 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has announced statistics of external borrowing of the domestic banks.

According to the CBA, as of 1 May 2018 the foreign borrowings of the commercial banks operating in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 1.899 bn.

Thus, by 1 April the banks’ external debt amounted to AZN 1.89 bn, by 1 March AZN 2.25 bn, by 1 February AZN 2.267 bn and by 1 January AZN 2.308 bn.
