October 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Japanese government has expanded the sanctions list against Russia.
ABC.AZ reports that today the relevant list was published by the Ministry of Finance of Japan.
The updated document includes 58 individuals and nine organizations from Russia, as well as another 23 people who are related to the new subjects of the Russian Federation.
Japan's new sanctions affect, in particular, relatives of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, as well as Russian Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Alina Kabaeva.
In addition, sanctions were imposed against Rostec State Corporation, Kalashnikov Concern, Roselectronics Holding, UEC-Klimov JSC, Sozvezdie Concern JSC, Yantar and More shipbuilding plants, United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec State Corporation).
