Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan suspend their activities in Russia

March 11, Fineko/abc.az. Giant banks Wall Street Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Russia have decided to cease their activities.

ABC.AZ reports that the bank has suspended its activities in Russia in accordance with regulatory and licensing requirements.

The bank aims to support its clients around the world in managing or closing pre-existing obligations in the market.

Thus, the first large US banks to announce their withdrawal from Russia after its invasion of Ukraine were Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase, according to Reuters.
