EU's decision to allocate financial aid of EUR 2 bn to Azerbaijan creates new opportunities for cooperation

February 22, Fineko/abc.az. EU’s decision to allocate financial assistance to Azerbaijan in the amount of 2 bn euro creates new opportunities for cooperation.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Orkhan Mammadov, the chairman of the Agency for the Development of Small & Medium-sized Businesses under the Ministry of Economy.

According to Mammadov, these projects are aimed at supporting the government's activities by covering the priorities of its economic policy: "The medium-term strategy of socio-economic development, developed with the participation of various government departments and stakeholders, includes large-scale reconstruction work in the post-conflict and post-pandemic period, diversification of sources of sustainable growth and a wide range of innovative solutions."

"I hope the experience of cooperation with the EU, based on positivity and mutual interests, will be continued," Mammadov said.
