February 3, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Hungary are strategic partners, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Sahil Babayev, the Labor & Social Protection Minister of Azerbaijan, as saying this at a meeting of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission.

According to the minister, economic and trade relations have been established between the two countries:

“Hungary is one of the countries actively investing in Azerbaijan. There are many areas of cooperation. Azerbaijan and Hungary enjoy objectively friendly relations.”

Babayev called on Hungarian companies to take part in the construction work in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

“Our country pays great attention to the restoration work in those areas. Our cooperation in this area can lay a robust foundation. Many IDPs are likely to return to their homes this year,” Babayev said.
