September 9, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 6 months of 2021 Azerbaijan's direct investments in the Kyrgyz economy increased 11-fold against Jan-Jun 2020.

The funds were mainly invested in the healthcare, wholesale and retail sectors.

The main part (97%) of all foreign direct investments were made in Kyrgyzstan are directed for geological exploration, manufacturing, mining enterprises, financial intermediation and insurance, information and communications, as well as wholesale and retail trade.
