Oil rises in price after last week`s growth, and Brent is at $43.27 a barrel

November 16, Fineko/abc.az. The benchmark oil prices are increasing in Monday’s trading after more than 8% growth over the past week.

Last week, the price of Brent grew by 8.4% and WTI by 8.1%.

By 9:59 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of Brent crude oil futures for January rose by $0.49 (1.15%) up to $43.27 per barrel. At the end of trading on 13 November the January Brent futures fell in price by $0.75 (1.72%) up to $42.78 per barrel.

By 9:59 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI crude futures for December rose in price by $0.58 (1.45%) to $40.71 per barrel. At the end of trading on 13 November the December WTI futures fell by $0.99 (2.41%) to $40.13.
