October 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has unveiled the amount of assets of the domestic banking sector as of 1 October 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Central Bank’s statistical data, the assets of the banking sector for Jan-Sept totaled AZN 30.619 bn (2.4% less versus Jan-Sept 2019).

The local banks' assets reached AZN 13.169 bn. Last year the sector's loan portfolio grew by 6.3%, and the share of loans in assets has increased from 39.5% up to 43%.
