May 30, Fineko/abc.az. At the 26th ongoing international conference "Oil & Gas of the Caspian Sea" in Baku SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev stressed that due to the growth of natural gas production last year, gas import in the country has been completely suspended.

This year, gas production is expected to grow by 20%.
