September 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2026, Azerbaijan produced 64,300 tons of salt (17.5% more against the 2025 same term), according to the State Statistics Committee.

However, it was only in August that a decline in production was recorded. In August, 4,643 tons of salt were produced in the country (35% less versus Jan-Aug 2025). As of September 1, there are 22,300 tons of stocks of finished products in the warehouses of industrial enterprises.

In 2025, the country produced a total of 85,389 tons of salt (4.5% less than in 2024).
