September 17, Fineko/abc.az. The amendments to the law are aimed at facilitating the work of such operational structures as AZAL, ASCO and the Baku Metro.

Jafar Babayev, first deputy chairman of the State Agency for Antimonopoly Control and Consumer Market Supervision, said this, when commenting on the draft amendments to the Law on Public Procurement at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee.

He added that in compliance with the new mechanism, these enterprises will be able to freely spend only their own income in accordance with their internal rules.

However, to ensure transparency, a supervisory board is required, and contracts will be executed through a special digital platform available for monitoring by the Ministry of Finance.
