September 15, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey exceeded $3.2 billion for Jan-Aug 2026, Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Baku.

The minister stressed the successful operation of such special formats between the two countries as the Strategic Cooperation Council, political consultations and the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, and also highly appreciated the active participation of Turkish companies in the territories liberated from occupation.

It was also brought to attention that special importance is attached to the expansion of cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, in the field of youth and sports.
