August 17, Fineko/abc.az. Elon Musk’s space technology company, SpaceX, has officially acquired AI-assisted coding startup Cursor in a $60 billion deal. According to an announcement on Cursor's blog, the startup is now formally part of SpaceX.

SpaceX, which integrated Musk's xAI earlier this year, signed a joint technology development agreement with Cursor in April that included an option to acquire the startup for $60 billion. Following SpaceX's transition into a public company, both parties decided to finalize the acquisition process.

Under the deal, Cursor will gain access to SpaceX's computing infrastructure and the world's largest GPU cluster. This access is expected to help the startup build more advanced AI models and deliver services to customers at lower costs.
