August 10, Fineko/abc.az. In the first seven months of this year, Azerbaijan generated 76,817.7 million AZN in Gross Domestic Product (GDP). According to the State Statistics Committee, the national economy expanded by 1.4% compared to the same period last year.

Sectoral Performance:

• Non-Oil and Gas Sector: GDP output increased by 2.2% year-on-year to reach 53,901.2 million AZN.

• Oil and Gas Sector: GDP output totaled 22,916.5 million AZN, representing a 0.6% decline compared to the corresponding period last year.
