August 11, Fineko/abc.az. Mastercard announced the appointment of Yasemin Bedir as President for its Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA) region, effective September 1. Based in the UAE, she will oversee strategy and growth across 81 markets.

Bedir, who brings nearly 20 years of Mastercard experience, will also join the company's Management Committee. She succeeds Dimitrios Dosis, who has transitioned to Chief Commercial Payments Officer.

Bedir joined Mastercard in 2007 and previously served as General Manager for Turkey and Azerbaijan, Executive Vice President in North America, and Division President for Eastern Europe over the past four years.
