August 10, Fineko/abc.az. Meta has announced Muse Glimmer, a streamlined version of its Muse Spark 1.2 artificial intelligence model. Featuring 30 billion parameters, the model is compact enough to run on a single graphics card (GPU) and is tailored for agentic AI tasks such as program management and file editing.

The model’s open weights will be available free of charge on Hugging Face. Meta is also developing plans for a cloud infrastructure business to sell AI computing capacity, similar to Amazon Web Services.

Additionally, Meta announced plans to launch a $1 billion fund to invest in US communities hosting its data centers. The initiative aims to address growing local resistance and opposition regarding data centers' land, power, and water consumption.
