August 3, Fineko/abc.az. Following a meeting on August 2, the OPEC+ alliance approved an increase in oil production caps by approx. 188,000 b/d from September. Following this decision, the cartel will pause further production increases to discuss subsequent steps.

This year, seven key OPEC+ members - Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Algeria, Kazakhstan, and Oman - have consistently increased their monthly production quotas.
