December 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is likely to use a new type of alternative energy source.

Zaur Mammadov, the administration head of the Ministry of Energy, stated about plans to produce energy from agricultural waste.

"About 3 tons of waste is generated during production of 1 ton of cotton. We plan to use this waste as a source of heat energy," Mammadov said.
