July 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2026, Georgia imported fuel and lubricating oils from Azerbaijan for $208 million (31% more against Jan-Jun 2025).

According to the National Statistics Service of Georgia, Azerbaijan ranked 2nd among the countries supplying fuel and lubricating oils to Georgia.

In June alone, Georgia purchased fuel and lubricants from Azerbaijan for $26.2 million (56% more than in the previous year).

In the first 6 months of this year, Georgia bought fuel and lubricants from foreign countries for $1.372 billion (52% more than in the previous year).

Georgia imported products from Russia for $666.3 million, from Turkey for $123 million, from Romania for $106 million, and from Belarus for $52 million.

In 2025, Georgia purchased fuel and lubricants from abroad for $1.6 billion, of which $145 million came from Azerbaijan.
