June 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Saudi Ministry of Tourism reported that in 2025, total tourism spending reached a record of 304 billion riyals ($81.1 billion), and the number of tourists grew up to 123 million people.
ABC.AZ informs that the sector has become an important part of economic diversification within the framework of Vision 2030: it provides employment growth (about 1.03 million jobs) and already generates a significant share of GDP and services exports.
Both domestic and inbound tourism provided the main growth, while the role of non-religious trips and investments in entertainment and cultural infrastructure increased.
