ABC.AZ reports that an honor guard was lined up for the distinguished guest at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, decorated by the flags of Azerbaijan and the European Union.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was welcomed at the airport by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, and other senior officials.
