June 25, Fineko/abc.az. As of May 31, 2026, the number of employees in banks of Azerbaijan reached 27,374 (15 fewer employees compared to April 30, 2026).

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the number of employees was 27,389 at the beginning of May. According to the CBA, the service network of the 22 banks operating in the country includes 499 branches, 84 sub-branches, and 3,502 ATMs.
