May 22, Fineko/abc.az. The introduction of restrictions on the import of floral products from Armenia to Russia is a working situation.
ABC.AZ informs that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a press conference.
According to the PM, restrictions on goods that do not meet phytosanitary requirements have always existed.
"There have been dozens of similar situations over the past eight years, and not only phytosanitary problems, but other problems, too," Pashinyan said.
Earlier, Rosselkhoznadzor announced the introduction of temporary restrictions on the import of floral products from Armenia to Russia from May 22. The organization explains its decision by protecting the phytosanitary well-being and export potential of the Russian Federation. According to certain information,
Armenia will lose 90% of its income from flower exports if it loses the Russian market.
