Moody's forecast: Georgia's GDP to grow by 6% in 2026

April 1, Fineko/abc.az. International rating agency Moody's predicts economic growth in Georgia in 2026 at the level of 6%, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Deputy Minister of Economy & Sustainable Development of Georgia Vakhtang Tsintsadze.

"Moody's has completed a periodic review of Georgia's sovereign rating. The agency's statement notes that the country's macroeconomic and fiscal indicators remain strong despite external shocks," said Tsintsadze, adding that the main focus of the agency's review is on a significant reduction in the current account deficit of Georgia's balance of payments, which, according to Moody's estimates, decreased to 2.9% of GDP in 2025.
