Azerbaijan earns $3.78 million from sugar exports for January

February 19, Fineko/abc.az. This January, Azerbaijan exported 5,878 tons of sugar for $3.782 million.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that compared with January 2025, the figure is $2.377 million (2.7-fold) more and in volume by 3,754 tons (2.8-fold more).

Revenues from sugar exports made up 0.2% of Azerbaijan's export earnings.

Last month, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $3.538 billion (30.5% less versus January 2025), including exports for $2.236 billion and imports for $1.302 billion (a drop of 26.4% on exports and 36.5% on imports).
