January 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Monday’s trading.

The price of Brent crude futures for March at the ICE Futures exchange decreased by $0.32 (0.53%) to $60.43 per barrel by 10:23 a.m. Following the trading on January 2, March’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.10 (0.16%) to $60.75 per barrel.

The price of February’s WTI crude oil futures at the NYMEX commodity exchange dropped by $0.36 (0.63%) to $56.96 per barrel by 10:23 a.m. Following the trading on January 2, WTI oil futures for February declined in price by $0.10 (0.17%), to $57.32 per barrel.

In December 2025, Brent crude oil fell in price by 2.5%, WTI by 1.9%. In 2025, Brent dropped by 18.5% and WTI by 20%.
