November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan exported 2.53 billion cigarettes.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, this figure is 24.4% higher against Jan-Sept 2024.

The value of exports also grew up to $32.1 million (24.1% more than a year earlier).

Georgia remains the main supply market in the export structure. In 2025, 1.63 billion cigarettes were shipped to this country, and the value of exports in this direction - $28.08 million. Exports to the Russian market reached the level of 252 million units, significantly exceeding the figure of the previous year.

The average export price has also increased. If in the first 3 quarters of 2024 the average price per million cigarettes was nearly 15,660, then in 2025 this figure was close to 15,620, and the price dynamics remained stable.

Amid export growth, cigarette production in the country is also growing. In the first 10 months of 2025, Azerbaijan produced 14.9 billion cigarettes (13.4% more than a year earlier).
