November 14, Fineko/abc.az. On Friday, November 14, at 9:05 a.m. (Baku time), futures for the U.S. index S&P lost 0.95% to 6753.5 points. The U.S. indices ended the previous day with a decrease of 1.65-2.29%.
ABC.AZ informs that on Thursday, Wall Street experienced its worst day in more than a month amid a sell-off in technology and artificial intelligence, and fading hopes for a rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve. Michael Bury, famous for the movie "The Big Short", closed his Scion Asset Management fund and increased his bet against AI giants.
Sales are observed amid the continued pressure on the shares of technology companies in Asia. Thus, Japanese index Nikkei 225 fell by 1.7%, to 50,394.34 points; Chinese index Shanghai Composite fell by 0.16%, to 4,022.89 points. Hong Kong's index Hang Seng fell 1.26% to 26,732.99 points, while South Korea's KOSPI index fell 3.19% to 4,037.6 points.
