September 29, Fineko/abc.az. In August 2025, the volume of non-cash transactions within the country increased by 20% compared with the 2024 same month.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that in August 2025, the non-cash payments within the country made with the use of cards totaled 8.172 million manats. E-commerce accounts for 7.153 million manats of non-cash payments. Of the remaining amount, 1.015 million manats were transferred through POS-terminals and 4 million manats through self-service terminals and ATMs.

Since the beginning of the year, the volume of non-cash transactions within the country by payment cards has reached 67.3% of all domestic card transactions.
