September 26, Fineko/abc.az. The data has been published on money transfers between Azerbaijan and Georgia for the first 6 months of 2025 .

Receipts of finances from Georgia to Azerbaijan increased from $17.4 million up to $18.1 million (a rise of 4% versus Jan-Jun 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

And money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia decreased from $25.1 million to $13.8 million (a drop of 45%).

Thus, for the first time in recent years, money transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan exceed transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia.
