September 25, Fineko/abc.az. The money transfers from individuals from Qatar to Azerbaijan in the 1st half of this year amounted to $8.395 million.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is $3.234 million, or 62.7% more against Jan-Jun 2024.

Qatar's share in overall volume of money transfers from abroad to Azerbaijan made up 1.6% for Jan-Jun 2025. Thus, Qatar ranked 11th in terms of the number of cash receipts to Azerbaijan during this period.

The money transfers from individuals from Qatar to Azerbaijan in the 1st half of 2024 totaled $5.161 million.

In general, in the first 6 months of 2025, the money transfers made by individuals from Azerbaijan to foreign countries reached $238.18 million ($21.4 million, or 8.2% less versus Jan-Jun 2024).

At the same time, the money transfers from individuals from foreign countries to Azerbaijan for Jan-Jun 2025 amounted to $533.957 million ($33.847 million or 6% less versus Jan-Jun 2024).
