August 29, Fineko/abc.az. For January–July 2025, banks operating in Azerbaijan received 683 million manats of net profit.

According to ABC.AZ, this is equivalent to the profit of the Central Bank last year, which amounted to 682.8 million manats. For the same period, banks earned 1.086 billion manats in operating profit and paid 166 million manats in profit tax.

As of July 31, 2025, the total assets of the 22 banks operating in Azerbaijan amounted to 55.7 billion manats, liabilities — 48.69 billion manats, and equity capital — 7.01 billion manats. Over the past month, bank assets decreased by 2%; at the beginning of July, assets amounted to 56.734 billion manats.
