ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank (CBA), that the CBA Board approved and entered into force two new regulatory documents on the activities of non-bank credit organizations - "Rules of Prudential Regulation of Activities" and "Rules of Credit Risk Management". According to the new requirements, for NBCOs created in the form of a commercial legal entity, the minimum amount of the authorized capital and total capital is set at 1 million manats, and for non-commercial legal entities - 100,000 manats. These changes are aimed at strengthening the financial stability of NBCOs.
Existing NBCOs that do not meet capital requirements have received mandatory instructions for execution by the Central Bank. According to reports, most organizations have already fulfilled these requirements. However, administrative measures were taken to revoke the license for some NBCOS whose capital did not meet the requirements. It was announced that an additional public statement would be made about these organizations.
The Central Bank noted that NBCOs’ activities are constantly monitored on the basis of new rules. The necessary steps will be taken within the legislation in relation to NBCOs that do not comply with the requirements.
