June 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, Azerbaijan imported 228,518 tons of fruits and vegetables.

The cost of fruits and vegetables in this volume reached $165.347 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee.

The indicator is 16,650 tons (7.8%) in volume and $21.69 million (14.6%) in value more against Jan-May 2024.

The cost of imported fruits and vegetables for Jan-May made up 1.7% of Azerbaijan's overall import costs.

In addition, for the past 5 months, Azerbaijan exported 291,393 tons of fruits and vegetables for $299.282 million (60,506 tons (26.2%) more in volume versus Jan-May 20245 and $48.3 million (19.1%) more in value.
Revenues from the export of fruits and vegetables for Jan-May 2025 made up 23.1% of Azerbaijan's overall export earnings.
