August 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry has monitored the use of cash registers at retail and catering facilities.

The Ministry reports that the monitoring was mainly informational in nature, and its purpose was to form the habit of the population to demand cash receipts.

"Violations were revealed in a number of facilities. In general, 45% of the facilities were fined in the course of the revealed breaches. No breaches were found out in 15% of the facilities, while 40% of facilities received warnings, as they violated the relevant requirement for the first time," it was reported.
