August 19, Fineko/abc.az. In the first half of this year, Azerbaijan exported 13,962 tonnes of cherries valued at $22.2 million.

According to calculations based on State Statistics Committee data, export volume declined by 14%, yet total revenue increased by 10% year-on-year.

Export Destinations Breakdown:

• Russia: $22.1 million (+10%) | 13,835 tonnes (-14%)

• Kazakhstan: $111.5 thousand (+88%) | 107.6 tonnes (+46%)

• Belarus: $15.4 thousand (-49%) | 19.2 tonnes (up 4x)

For context, in 2025, Russia accounted for 99.3% of Azerbaijan's total cherry exports (16,758 tonnes).
