Azerbaijani banks’ investments in securities reach a record level

February 14, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani banks’ investments in securities have reached a record level of AZN 8.4 bn, or about $5 bn at the current exchange rate.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank, that by the end of 2022 country's banks' investments in securities reached AZN 8.338 bn (AZN 3.4 bn, or 70% more than a year earlier, that is, at the end of 2021).

Banks' investments in securities have almost doubled since 2020 and observed almost 3-fold growth since 2019.
