January 9, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the Ministry of Finance raised AZN 2.406 bn through the placement of government bonds.

This is the largest annual amount ever raised through government bonds.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Baku Stock Exchange’s statistics, compared with 2021, the debt increased by AZN 909.427 million, or by 60.7% in 2022.

Through the placement of government bonds in 2016 the Finance Ministry received AZN 421.49 million, in 2017 – AZN 794.518 million, in 2018 – AZN 872.757 million, in 2019 - AZN 659.8 million, in 2020 – AZN 1.16 bn, and in 2021 – AZN 1.497 bn.
