Central Bank sold $58.3 million to banks at a currency auction

February 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA informs that $58.3 million was sold to banks at today’s auction.

"The demand from banks at the auction amounted to $58.3 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate was AZN 1.70 to the US dollar.
