Central Bank sold $74.3 million to banks at currency auction

December 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA informs that $74.3 million was sold to banks at the currency auction on 22 December.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $74.3 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
