September 24, Fineko/abc.az. Draft amendments to the Tax Code and the Law on Social Insurance were discussed at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

According to the proposal, starting from January 1, 2027, income tax on salaries of individuals working for residents of technoparks will be withheld at zero rate for 20 years.

At that, it provides for an extension of up to 20 years of benefits for income tax, dividends, property tax and land tax for legal entities that are residents of technoparks, and for residents of industrial parks this period will be 10 years.

For large business entities, the benefits will be applied provided that the established share of exports is secured and income is transferred to bank accounts within the country.

In addition, for the relevant employees, the possibility of choosing between four times the minimum monthly wage and the actual salary is extended for 20 years when calculating mandatory state social insurance contributions.

If the bill is adopted, it will enter into force in 2027.
