July 7, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter to the Emperor Naruhito of Japan.

ABC.AZ reports that the letter says:

"Your Majesty,

I am deeply saddened to hear of the many human casualties and large-scale destruction caused by the natural disaster that occurred in the South of Your country.

In connection with this tragedy, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I express my deep condolences to You, the families and relatives of the victims, and wish healing to the injured."
